PPI Charges: Barclays reports fall in profits

Banking giant Barclays has seen its profits slashed by almost a fifth for the first nine months of 2009.

Its profits to September were £4.542 billion, down 19 per cent on last year after being hit by £6.2 billion of charges for bad debt, BBC News reported today (November 10th).

The bank's pre-tax profit for the three months to September 2009 stood at £1.56 billion, down 45 per cent.

Anyone who feels they have been unfairly sold payment protection insurance or have suffered excessive credit card charges with Barclays should consider redressing this by getting PPI refunds, a bank reclaim or a credit card claim.

This week, the head of the Financial Services Authority (FSA) which is in charge of regulating financial services criticised a lack of collective responsibility at banks for causing the global financial crisis.

If you would like to make a credit card charges claim to get back all your late payment / over limit fees in the last six years from Barclays then fill out the Quick Claim or call Belmont Thornton on 0845 526 0000.ADNFCR-2776-ID-19452007-ADNFCR
